Assisting Individuals with Special Needs

The L.O.C.A.T.E.® program assists endangered or special needs individuals who may be lost or separated from their loved ones. Information gathered through L.O.C.A.T.E.® allows officers responding to a found or missing person call to more quickly reunite someone with family or caregivers.

L.O.C.A.T.E.® focuses on citizens with special needs, such as those with:

  • Autism
  • Down Syndrome
  • Impaired hearing
  • Language barriers
  • Alzheimer’s and related dementia disorders

Register with L.O.C.A.T.E.®
