Ward I - Commissioner Laura Thomas

Laura ThomasBiography
Laura Thomas and her husband have lived in Hatfield since 1984 and they've raised their son here. She holds a BS in Education from Temple University, works as an Executive Assistant in a locally based global manufacturing firm and operates her own small business.

Performing community service and helping others has always been a part of her life. She has been a Girl Scout leader, soccer and baseball mom, served on the AM Kulp Home and School Association as Secretary and as Treasurer.  She was a long-time member and secretary of Hatfield Township's Parks and Recreation board and now serves as the Commissioner liaison to the board. She has been teaching Sunday school at Trinity Lutheran Church since 1989.

She is also active with the March of Dimes serving as Corporate Team Captain and raising over $40,000 per year for babies who desperately need help to survive.

Corvettes have always been her passion, so you may see her cruising around the township in her red Corvette convertible.

Commissioner Thomas' term runs through 12/31/19.
