The Hatfield Township Hometown Heroes Banner Program is a living tribute created for the community to recognize and honor our Veterans who are serving or have served our country in the United States Armed Forces. To qualify, a Veteran, living or deceased, must have had a connection to Hatfield Township (attended local schools, relative, friend, etc…)
Also eligible are those honored on War Memorials and Veterans recommended by the local VFW and American Legion Posts.
Banners are 24” x 48” and made of heavy vinyl, printed on both sides, and display the Veteran’s photograph, full name, branch of the military and era of service (WWI, WWII, Vietnam, etc.) Banners will be displayed from May through Veterans Day in November. Banners will be removed and stored for the winter until the same period the following year, when they will be redisplayed.
To order a banner for your loved one, you will need:
- a completed Hometown Hero application
- a photograph of your Hero in uniform
- a check for $135.00 for each banner, payable to “Lansdale Borough Hometown Heroes”
